Camshaft was introduced to the dynamic medium of radio at A.I.T where he did a communications degree.

He Majored in radio in his final year with a workload that included producing a weekly radio show, and a thesis on setting up a viable radio format in the Auckland market.

A successful stint with More FM both with on-air and promotional work led Camshaft down this Channel Z path.

Camshaft is the number 1 Meredith Brooks fan and although he needs a proctologist he is fully functional in the channel Z booth..... sometimes! that is when strange young woman are not up there wanting to sing live on air (ouch! I was there... trust me!)
